Michael has enjoyed living in most of New Zealand’s major centers throughout his career. He finds a special sense of community in smaller locations like Matamata, which boasts a strong mix of locals and international visitors, adding great variety to the café experience.

With 13 years as part of the Robert Harris family, Michael was drawn to the brand’s strong model and great reputation, fulfilling his long-held ambition of owning a business.
