Ginny has lived in Hamilton for the last 18 years. Tao originally lived in Auckland for a year but moved to Hamilton after meeting Ginny. Their first business venture in New Zealand was owning a Gift Shop for 5 years. However, they believed owning a café gave them more opportunity to meet more locals. They found the first 6 months was a big learning curve for the hard working couple but their perseverance has paid off. Tao in particular, who had rarely cooked a meal in his life, now runs the kitchen by himself.  While Ginny ensures that the customers are well looked after and that every cup of coffee is made to perfection. Not only have they won the Franchisee of the Year Award back in 2009, they are now onto their second Robert Harris cafe.
